How much do you pay for your apartment’s security now? Or may be you are still afraid of its’ safe guarding when going for holiday!? And how much cost the baby-sitter services? May be you’ve already thought of security officer for your child? Yes, of course without you all is going topsy-turvy! And what is the price of the intellect which everything keeps under control? But firstly let’s investigate what do you understand under the definition of “intellectual building”? Today the market offers you a unique chance to know about it practically! You will be able to manage your home with the help of elegant touch control panel or a universal remote control which will substitute the great number of panels from different devices, for example from TVs, DVDs, tuners, air-conditioners, boomchair, home theatre seating etc. The system “clever home” will allow gather the whole equipment in versatile entertaining system. The home automatically will make ready your movie theatre for film watching: will install the necessary parameters of illumination, pull down the screen, switch on the projector, adjust the sound and even keep up the necessary air temperature throughout the film watching. Your apartment or house will become your “clever” friend: it will pick up shutters tomorrow, switch on your favourite music or TV program, for example, on news channel, switch on air-conditioners or open the windows. In the evening your “intellectual friend” will fill your bath with water of needed temperature, add foam or bath salt, light candles and will create cozy atmosphere. It will even heat up supper if you want and will meet you with illuminated pavement to the garage. Do you like to surprise? Then make a party and meet your guests with illuminated path and various many-colored splashes of fountains. But for what you need it all if you enter your movie theatre only once a week, and you have no time for music tomorrow and for friends in the evening?

Then let’s talk about serious questions, for example about the protection of your home. Of course no security system can protect your children from troubles on the street. This is life. But anyway we have to admit that our home is our stronghold. You always will be in the awareness of what is going on in the home at the moment while you are in absence. You will be able to keep your eye on children and home with the help of video cameras installed inside and outside your home by using computer or mobile phone.
You will have not to come back halfway home any more thinking about kitchen range being off or the light. Right that moment your home will take care of it and it will switch off everything itself (except radiotelephone, fridge, and other similar devices). It will also activate the security guard system.  If have no one to take care of and the entertainment functions of the home are more important for you in this case think about surrounding things which are dear to you. Not taking into account their price of course. Because every thing purchased by you is precious for you by memories about it’s buying, or may be by delight you’ve experienced when you’ve been presented with it. Every thing has its own history, and the holding this history is wonderful thing actually. However how it can be easily lost at one moment! And the matter is not always in the theft. If fire alert happens or in fire hazard situation the system will block gas supply, switch off all electric sources, stop up ventilation and inform you about by SMS message. The system always in proper time and precisely reacts on changing physical parameters of environmental conditions, regulating lighting, heating, ventilation, temperature of water in pool or sauna, controlling the security system, electrical, gas and water supply. In spite of innumerable quantity of implemented functions, the “clever home” can be managed even by child. In a word the home will be your best friend because it will think as you think, work out all wishes, be friend for your friends and be a shield from enemies. How to Build a Home Theater with a Sectional Sofa?

People are not always satisfied with that very wide range of choices they have in shops, because the more we enjoy the comfort from luxury furniture the more we want it to be exquisite, and this is a real fact. Consequently, today many furniture manufacturers especially those who deal with entertainment furniture sets can offer something more desirable, more complicated and more comfortable. Sectionals are very popular for such applications because of their possibility to accommodate more extensive seating space. You can face some problems if not having placed the seating in right positions, about this we have talked in previous article, but it would be very useful to revise some points and may be some of them will be helpful for you. So there are some rules according to which the correct position of home theatre seating is determined.

Ø  Firstly you are to measure the screen size in relation to where the intended seating will be placed. Measure the screen diagonally and multiply the result by 2 to establish minimum seating distance.

Ø  Then you are to place the surround speakers at least 18 inches above ear height when seated in the sectional. The location of the surrounds should be slightly to the rear of the sofa.

Ø  Thirdly, sit in the middle of the sectional. Point the two front speakers so that the speaker grilles are pointed directly at this middle position. You should place the center channel speaker directly above or below the screen in order to be ensured that it is parallel to the front two speakers.

Ø  Place the subwoofer at the middle seating position on the floor in front of the sofa. Connect the subwoofer to the home theater receiver with a long RCA cable, of sufficient length to reach the seating area. Plug the subwoofer in to a nearby outlet, using an extension cord if necessary.

Finally, when having tested the surround-sound system tones walk along the perimeter of the room until the smoothest bass is heard. This will be the final location for the subwoofer.

Advice on how to correctly place home theatre seats

It is really does matter where the seats in a home theatre, because the pleasant viewing of a movie and its sound completely depends on seating position. Here we’ll give some critical instructions which will help you in positioning home theatre seats and the TV itself. Many home theater designers are taking for granted one fact. The bass frequencies have a big tendency to disappear at the middle and build up at the walls. One typical mistake that individuals make when establishing their own home theater is to put the seats nearby the wall or the middle of the theater. There has been done big research in setting up the seats in a home entertainment. If the seating isn’t right, it would be difficult – if not impossible – to get immersed into a great home theater experience. Also it is very important to take into consideration the likings of each member of your family. For this reason you can choose definite distinct seats with accordance of requirements of your family. Home theater seats are really important details which you must pay close attention to.

Very important concern is where to start the placement of the seats from. The width of the screen and the angle of vision have to be taken into consideration, while calculating the distance. As per the Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers (SMPTE) guidelines:

A primary consideration – especially when it comes to the dedicated home theater room – should be to determine the room space requirements.

Measure your room: Firstly you should carefully measure the width and length of the room where the theatre will be placed. Then in order not to forget the data write it down in both inches and feet. This will help with calculations. You should be very attentive while measuring the length because this will be the primary number needed to calculate how close to put your seating. Note: Length is the dimension of the room that will span from the screen to the seating. But measure the maximum room-length available in the room.

Subtended Viewing Angles and Seating Distance:

Perfect angle of vision in order to enjoy 2D effect for an HD TV is a horizontal angle of 30 degrees of view and 15 degrees of vertical angle of view which is true to a viewing distance of 1.9 times the screen width, for a single row of seats. If you have more than one row of seats than: horizontal angles of 36degrees for the front row and 26 degrees for the last row, which corresponds to the viewing distance range of 2.2 to 1.54 times the screen width and the vertical angle not exceeding 35 degree, specially for the front seat. As you have understood the range is specified for the angle of vision if more than one row of seats. The interval of viewing distance is between 2 times of screen width and 5 times of screen width. The more close position of your home theatre seat can result in poor picture quality as the image pixels can be easily distinguished. For this point special depixelization filters (for LCDs) are used to overcome the problem.

Another consideration when planning your home theater seating should be to ensure that all parts of the screen are easily visible by all viewers. In a home theater installation with a single row of seats, it should not be difficult to ensure that all viewers have an unobstructed view of the whole projection screen area. If your seating consists of multiple rows of seats, the situation may be somewhat different. In case your home theatre has more than one row platforms can be installed which are with risers and steps for better viewing from the back rows. the optimum height should be approximately 12 inches per row. This corresponds to a stadium type seating and would normally require a two 6-inch steps between adjacent rows. At the same time, they should be wide enough, so that the huge-sized seats can be placed onto them, without toppling over. If that is not possible, another option is to arrange the seats (if separate) in a scattered way to obtain the best possible view. There are two graphic pictures which will show the right arrangement of home theatre seating.
You should remember that the design and layout of your home theater seats play a determining role towards achieving a great home theater experience.
